Connect Codex CLI

Add Acquisity to Codex and sign in from your terminal.

Looking for the desktop app? Use Connect Codex desktop. This page is for people already using the codex terminal command.

1. Add the server

codex mcp add acquisity --url https://api.acquisity.ai/mcp

Then check that it is listed:

codex mcp list

2. Sign in

codex mcp login acquisity

Your browser opens Acquisity. Sign in, choose a workspace, choose Read-only or Full access, and approve the connection. Return to the terminal after Acquisity confirms the connection.

Start codex and use /mcp to inspect the server and its tools.

3. Try a read-only request

Use Acquisity to list my connected workspace, then list its campaigns. Do not change anything.

Use a static API key instead

For non-browser authentication, create an API key, set it in the terminal that starts Codex, then replace the signed-in server:

export ACQUISITY_API_KEY="YOUR_ACQUISITY_API_KEY"
codex mcp logout acquisity
codex mcp remove acquisity
codex mcp add acquisity --url https://api.acquisity.ai/mcp --bearer-token-env-var ACQUISITY_API_KEY

Codex stores the environment-variable name, not the key value. Set the variable again before starting Codex from a new terminal.

Disconnect

codex mcp logout acquisity
codex mcp remove acquisity

You can also revoke the connection from Acquisity → Settings → Connected apps. Disconnecting does not undo completed changes or pause campaigns already running.

Choose an access level or fix a connection error.
